Majorly confuzzled: Wireless routers and ADSL modems.?

Ok so I currently have an ADSL wired connection at home with a modem.

Im getting a wireless networking adapter for the xbox 360 for my birthday and i was wondering:

Can you connect a wireless ROUTER to an ADSL modem, and then have wireless connectivity with your computer and other devices?

Piece of Piroshki.

You have DSL -- Modem -- Computer.

You want DSL -- Modem -- Wireless Router -- Computer.

Simple matter of buying the router and connecting between the computer and modem. Computer is reset, if needed, for DHCP. Modem is configured for your ISP, if you have a username/password log-on you put that into the router.

Turn on the WiFI, turn on security for the WiFi, give your xbox your 10-digit WiFi key and you're in.

In simple terms, the internet comes into your modem then either:

-directly to your computer

-or to a router/hub

Most routers today are capable of wireless, and can connect many devices. If your router is close enough [to your 360], then you can just use ethernet.
